Food Banks
El Dorado Food Bank
The El Dorado Food Bank serves over 150,000 pounds of food each month to the homeless and poor in El Dorado County with a week's worth of nutritious food. In addition to weekly giveaways, Easter hams are given to families on Easter, turkeys are distributed on Thanksgiving, families receive Christmas baskets (meal and toys) on Christmas.

Twin Lakes Food Bank
Twin Lakes Food Bank helps over 15,000 people, 1/2 of them children each year, and serves 1,000 people each month – weeks worth of food. In addition to weekly giveaways, Easter hams are given to families on Easter, turkeys are distributed on Thanksgiving, families receive Christmas baskets (meal and toys) on Christmas, and the Back to School program outfits hundreds of school age children with shoes and supplies.
